PRE-TAN TIPS
Skin Preparation Checklist
Follow this checklist to ensure the best and most even competition tan.
✅ 1 Week Before Show
• Gently exfoliate your entire body to remove dead skin.
• Do not scrub too harshly to avoid skin irritation.
• Don’t forget commonly missed areas, your back, neck, and feet.
✅ Moisturizing
• You may moisturize daily if your skin is dry.
• Stop using all lotions 24 hours before your tanning appointment.
✅ Hair Removal
• Waxing: Complete at least 5 days before the competition.
• Shaving: Complete no later than 24 hours before your first tanning appointment.
• After shaving, lightly exfoliate to remove any shaving cream, oils, or residue.
🚫 Once Tanning Begins
• No more exfoliating
• No shaving or waxing
🚫 Do NOT apply:
• Deodorant / Perfume / Cologne
• Lotions or oils
• Any skin products
Arrive to your tanning appointment with clean, dry skin only. This ensures your competition tan is even and looks its best under stage lighting.
TANNING APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES
What to Wear
Please wear loose, baggy clothing to your tanning appointment. Avoid tight elastic bands that may leave marks on the skin.
We Recommend:
• Loose clothing without tight straps
• Sandals or slides with minimal straps
You Want To Avoid:
• Tight clothing, sports bras, or tight undergarments after tanning
• Red cotton clothing, as it may affect the tan
During Your Appointment
STAGEPRO will provide complimentary protective accessories during the tanning process.
For male athletes wearing trunks during tanning, please bring an extra pair of trunks different from the one you will wear on stage.
Privacy Policy
To ensure privacy and professionalism, STAGEPRO maintains separate tanning areas for male and female athletes. Only registered athletes and authorized STAGEPRO tanning professionals are permitted inside the tanning room.
Hotel Policy
If you are staying in a hotel, please bring your own bedsheets and towels to prevent staining the hotel property.STAGEPRO is not responsible for any color transfer or stains on the hotel property.
Personal Belongings
Please avoid bringing valuable items to your appointment. STAGEPRO is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
